Essie L. Stinnett

Essie L. Stinnett, 93, of Dierks, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Dierks. She was born on October 30, 1921 in Center Point, AR, the daughter of the late McDuff Jones and Lee Etta (Burt) Jones. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isac Elbert Stinnett. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Parker and husband, Calvin of Dierks, and Doris Smith and husband, Don of Bartlesville, OK; one granddaughter and her husband, Angela Gilbert and John of Dierks; one great grandson, John Isac Gilbert. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Church with J.W. Gilbert officiating. Burial in Old Mt.
