Ernie Manry of De Queen, Arkansas passed away from this life on December 5, 2016 having achieved 72 years, two months, and five days. Born to C.E. and Willie Mae Manry in Stockton, CA. Ernie was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired truck pusher and retired truck driver. He was also active in the restoration of antique cars. He attended church at Biggs Chapel in Nathan, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Manry, four sons Michael Cortez of De Queen, AR; Michael and wife Jessie Manry, Jackie Don Manry, Corey and wife Stephanie Manry all of Iowa Park, TX; three brothers Jack Manry of Pecos, TX, Claude Manry of Stinett, TX; and Jim Manry of Norman, OK; two sisters Mary Williams of Weatherford, TX; and Kay Hampton of Lubbock, TX; Seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, with an abundance of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, December 9 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 10, at Roy Cemetery with Bro. Al Terrell officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
