Ernest Pipkins, Jr.

Ernest Pipkins, Jr. 75, of Delight, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in Delight. He was born on October 24, 1937 in Pike County, AR, the son of the late William E. and Jessie Pearlene (Simmons) Pipkins. He was a logger and member of the Billstown Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pipkins was preceded in death by one grandson, Brandon Pipkins. Survivors include: his wife, Betty of Delight; two sons, Tony Pipkins and Johnny Lockeby both of Delight, AR; two daughters, Pam Walker and Brenda Ellis both of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three brothers, Glen Edward Pipkins and William Harold Pipkins, both of Delight, and Jessie Eugene Pipkins of Hot Springs. A host of relatives and friends mourn his passing. Services will be on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro with Brother Wallace Alexander and Randy Hughes officiating.
