Emogene McMurry

Emogene McMurry, 85, of Nashville, AR; died, Wednesday June 5, 2013 in Nashville Nursing and Rehab. She was born February 20, 1928 to the late Carlton and Thelma Porterfield Bowers. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Volunteers Sunday School Class. Mrs. McMurry was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jimmy Bowers, and a great nephew Eric Haley. Survivors are a brother, Wayne Bowers and wife Bobbie of Ore City, Texas; a sister-in-law Barbara Bowers of Nashville, and a special Aunt, Jessie Chevallier of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by one nephew David Bowers of Houston, Texas; two nieces Becky Carter of Daingerfield, Texas; and Karen Bates and husband Mike of Nashville, several great nieces, and a great nephew, as well as a host of other relatives and special friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Rev. Glen Green officiating.
