Emma Woods

Emma Woods, 71, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday November 25, 2014 in her home. She was born on June 6, 1943 the daughter of the late Floyd Chandler and Daisy Pearl (Woodall) Chandler. Mrs. Woods was a member of the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, the Wings group and Sunday school class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Charlotte Coker. Survivors include three daughters, Darla Stamps of Murfreesboro, AR, Angala Shelton and husband Mickey of Murfreesboro, AR, Sherril Lowrey and husband Chad of Lewisville, TX; two brothers-in-law, Donny Woods and wife Sue, and William Woods and wife Zona; one sister-in-law Donnell Woods; and three grandchildren, Catherine Plunk, Austin Hignight and Awdra Hignight, and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends mourn her passing. Visitation will be on Friday November 28, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Latimer Funeral Home chapel in Murfreesboro. Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014 with visitation from 10AM to service time at the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro with Brother Jerry Hill and Brother Johnny Baker officiating.
