Elizabeth Eulail Gardner, 91, of Dierks, AR, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the local hospital. She was born August 19, 1921, in Center Point, AR, the daughter of the late Willie Benjamin and Lize Jane Lemons. She was a retired beautician and farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church. Eulail was preceded in death by her husband, H.B. Gardner, a son, James Carrol (Jim) Gardner and a brother, Fred Lemons. She is survived by a son Rodney Gardner and wife, Nancy of Nashville, AR; two daughters, Sharon Turner and husband, Ronald and Jane Smith and husband, Phillip both of Dierks, AR; one brother, Charles Lemons of Nashville, AR and one sister, Shirley Davis of Spiro, OK; her surviving grandchildren are: Julie McRae, Tina Chism, MaChelle Driver, Jerry Gardner, Daniel M. Gardner, Greg Gardner, Susan Colyer, and Adam Smith. Other survivors include: 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, plus many other relatives and friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 7, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Art Baker officiating, burial in Dierks Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
