Elisa "Lisa" Wright Bonham, the bravest woman we were blessed to know has passed away at the age of 60 after a difficult battle with cancer. Elisa was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 54 and put on a brave face from the first moment.
Elisa did not let cancer define her and instead threw herself into her favorite passion: Crafts and spent many hours completing them and won several ribbons at fairs. She read all of Stephen Kings books and loved to cook. Never meet a stranger and would give away her last cent to needier than her. Loved her cats. Elisa is survived by Siblings: Nancy Schwope, Wallace Wright, and Emily Douglas. Children: Adam Wright, Russell Wright, and Shelli Smith. Also, several Grandkids. And is predeceased by Parents: Floyd Wright and Garnetta Wright. We also want to acknowledge Elisa’s best friend: Deborah Pope. She stood by her and were incredibly important and supportive of her.
To celebrate the life of Elisa, please donate a very small or large amount to any children's Cancer hospital or research. Or just light your favorite candle and think of her for a minute.
Cremation services are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
