Elease Beatrice Rosson

Elease Beatrice Rosson was born December 24, 1919 in Nashville, AR, the daughter of the late Ellis and Annie (Denson) Jones. Elease went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2011. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Nashville, AR. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Rosson was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. Rosson in 2000, 1 brother, Robert Jones, one great-granddaughter, Sylvia Bunz, and Cheryl King, granddaughter-in-law. Survivors include: three daughters, Sue King (Chuck) of Bossier City, LA; Carolyn Clouse (Norm) of Edmond, OK; and Sandra Bunz (Jim) of Lincoln, NE; 1 brother, James Weldon Jones (Verdell) of Hot Springs, AR; four grandchildren, Greg King of Bossier City, LA; Kelly Vandiver (Brad) of Chickamauga, GA; Lori Haun (Brent) of Lincoln, NE; and Brent Bunz (Tammy) of Lincoln, NE. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren. Elease and Leonard were married September 2, 1939 in Washington, AR. They moved a number of times over the years following Leonard�s job before settling back in Nashville. During that time, Elease enjoyed volunteering at church, VFW, American Legion, and other community organizations. She loved her role as club and activities sponsor for many of her daughters� activities during their school years. In 1991 she and Leonard relocated to Edmond, OK to live with their daughter, Carolyn. She remained very close to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family back in Nashville. Funeral services will be October 4, 2011 at 11:00am at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, AR with Brother David Cassady officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery in Nashville, AR, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
