Edwina Louise (Goss) Floyd

Edwina Louise (Goss) Floyd, age 76, of Nashville, Arkansas, died Monday, September 28, 2009. She was born May 13, 1933 in Athens, Ark., the daughter of the late Ernest and Elatha Goss. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elatha Goss, a brother, Ovay Goss, two sisters, Vernetta Manasco and Geneva Smith. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny & LeAnn Flemens of Sherwood, Ark, and Steve & Cathy Flemens of Leesburg, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law Leon & Ruth Goss of DeQueen; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and relatives. One of her most treasured survivors was her cat Sanscruples (Sandy). Graveside services will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Section Cemetery in Athens, Ark.
