Edna Morris age 98, of Nashville, Arkansas died on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born November 14, 1923 in Frog Level, Arkansas the daughter of the late Emmett Allen and Jessie Pullen Allen.
Mrs. Morris was famous for her fried pies, her raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, as well as her quilts. But more importantly she loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Morris; one son Lonnie Gayle Morris; four sisters Mida Jones, Mary Chandler, Irene Dierks, and Hazel Allen and three brothers Lester Allen, Buzz Allen, and Claudie Allen
Survivors include two sons Phillip Morris and wife Louise of Nashville, Doug Morris and wife Pam of Nashville; one daughter Jeanette Launius and husband Thomas of Nashville; nine grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, at Antioch Cemetery with Bro. Don Jones and Bro. Michael Launius officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
