Dwight David Willett, 60, of Garland, TX died Tuesday, January 29 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. He is survived by his father, Robert D. Willett of Garland, TX, a daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Aaron Owens of Jonesboro, AR, a sister Vicki Willett of Dallas, TX, and a sister and brother-in-law, Staci and James Syferd of Rockwall, TX. He is also survived by his 5 nieces, Paige King and her husband Ryan, of Dallas Texas, Whitney, Heather, and Haley Wilson, all of Rockwall, TX and Hanna Syferd, also of Rockwall, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ina Jo Willett. David was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and to spend time on Lake Greeson with his family and friends. He was also a longtime fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 9 at 3:00 for family at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Murfreesboro, AR with Pastor Rob Evans officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the Baylor Hospital Cancer Research Foundation, 3600 Gaston, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75246 in memory of David.
