Douglas Wayne Pinkerton, 59, of Nashville, died Monday, March 7, 2011, in Hot Springs, AR. He was born May 31, 1951, at Nashville, AR, the son of the late Glenn Luther and Wanda Jean Westbrook Pinkerton. He was a member of Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Dierks, AR, Howard County Search and Rescue, Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, and American Society of Radiologic Technology. He was 2010 EMT Instructor of the Year and was a HAMM Radio Operator. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pinkerton of Nashville, AR; one son, Steven Pinkerton and wife, Jennifer, of Nashville, AR; one daughter, Kim Bearden and husband, Matt, of Hope, AR; two grandchildren, Matthew Carver and Madelyn Pinkerton both of Nashville, AR and a host of family and friends. . Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 10, at First Baptist Church, Nashville, burial in Harmony Cemetery, New Hope, AR. under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Howard Memorial Foundation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 9, from 6:00 â�" 9:00 P.M.
