Dorothy Lewis, 93, of Murfreesboro, AR, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Pike County Hospital. She was born, July 28, 1915 in Jackson County, AR the daughter of the late Dorse B. and Effie Frances (Edwards) Weatherford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Lewis; one grandson, Mike Lewis; and 2 sisters. Survivors include five sons, Dallas Lewis of Conroe, TX, Boyce Lewis of Richardson, TX, Jerry Lewis of Glenwood, AR, Ralph Lewis of Dallas, TX, and Graham Lewis of Smithsville, KY; 2 sisters, Martha Alice Smith of Meshawaka, IN, and Claudine Clayton of Bartlett, TN; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with burial in Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home-Murfreesboro.
