Dorothy Sylvia Hanney

Dorothy Sylvia Hanney, 67, of Nashville, died Monday, January 4, 2010 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville. She was born on May 20, 1942 in Norfolk, England, the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Claire) Harrod. She was of the Baptist faith; and worked for the Case Shear Plant In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hanney was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hanney and one brother, Michael Harrod. Survivors include: one son, Rickey Hanney of Nashville, AR; one daughter Debbie Barnett and husband, Bryan of Nashville; one sister, Margaret Hanney and husband, Olen of Nashville; one granddaughter, Mandy Cornish and husband, Michael of Nashville; two great grandchildren, Katie Cornish and Sydney Cornish both of Nashville. Many other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M, Friday, January 8, 2010 at Avery�s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
