Donnis Moody Lott

Donnis Moody Lott, 77, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Texarkana Hospice surrounded by her family and friends. She was born September 13, 1939 in Lonoke, Arkansas the daughter of the late Roy Moody and Thurzie Rollins Moody. She was a faithful servant for the Lord and a devoted pastor's wife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Delight where her husband Luther pastored for 12 years. She is preceeded in death by her parents, an infant son, and her brother Earl Moody. Survivors include her husband Luther Lott, two sons; David Lott (Amy), Jerry Lott (Elita); three brothers Heuitte Moody (Linda), Thomas Moody (Marilyn), Walter Moody (Joan), four grandchildren: Brian Lott, Erica Staggs (Chad), Adam Lott, Valorie Lott, and a great-granddaughter Hadley Staggs; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Services will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Delight, with burial to follow at Delight Cemetery.
