Dickie Branch, age 76, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born June 6, 1947 in Nashville, Arkansas the son of the late William Tommy Branch Sr. and Nicky Hare Branch.
Mr. Branch was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro. He was a faithful member of the Shriner’s, the Painter’s Union, and was serving his 50th year as a Mason. Dickie served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnan era, as well as his community for many years in law enforcement for Pike County as deputy and State of Arkansas Highway Patrol. He also spent four and half years overseas with the United Nations Police.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother William Tommy Branch Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Dee Branch of Murfreesboro, AR; two sons Shane and wife Michele Branch and Travis Branch both of Murfreesboro, AR; three grandchildren Ansley Branch, Aden Henderson, and Rina Feuget; as well as one nephew Richard Branch and his great nephew Dylan Branch.
Visitation will be noon until 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Memorial services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with Rob Evans officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to College Hill Cemetery, in care of Doug Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Perrin, Jody Morse, Will Jones, Michael Rather, Shane Davis, Travis Bostic, Anthony White, Ricky Branch, Tim Ballard, Howard Shahan, Keith Self, Allan Self, Dylan Branch, and Jimmy McNabb.
