Dewey Stone

Dewey Stone, 84, of Delight, AR, died on Thursday, November 3, 2011 in Little Rock, AR. He was born on September 1, 1927 in Billstown, AR, the son of the late Jewel Lee and Bessie Beatrice (Stark) Stone. Mr. Stone was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Sue Haltom; one son, Cris Stone; one daughter, Rhonda Elaine Stone; one brother, William Kenneth Stone; one sister, Ollie Faye Stone Bugg; and one brother-in-law, Junior Bugg. Survivors include: one son, Randy L. Stone and wife, Jackie of Canton, TX; one daughter, Dana Stone of Murfreesboro, AR; two grandsons, Christopher Randall Stone and wife, Courtney of Delight, AR, and Nicholas Chase Stone and wife, Erica of Delight, AR; two brothers, Keith Stone and wife, Judy of Murfreesboro, AR, and Jimmy Stone and wife, Peggy of Delight, AR; and one sister-in-law, Margie Stone. A host of other relatives and friends mourn his passing. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro with Brother Wallace Alexander officiating with burial to follow at Delight Cemetery in Delight, AR under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, AR.
