Dessie Andrews

Dessie Andrews, 90, of Delight, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was born July 27, 1921 in Prescott, AR, the daughter of the late Thurston and Dovie Wingfield Stuart. She was a member of the Bowen Community Church. She was a gospel singer and Christian. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and good friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Andrews; four children, Kyle Andrews Jr. , and twins, Carl and Cecil Andrews and Linda Lou Andrews; granddaughter, Tiffany Davidson; great grandson K.T. Brantley; one brother, Henry Stuart, and one sister, Jamie Hendrix. She is survived by one son; Joey Andrews, and wife Melissa, of Delight; five daughters Joy Brantley and husband Thomas of Delight, AR; Betty Steele and husband Ray, of Hope, AR, Grace Davidson and husband, Walter, of Prescott, AR; Susie O�Neal and husband, Jerry, of Delight, AR; and Georgia Rhodes and husband, Stanley, of Delight, AR; two sisters, Marie Ridgell of Alexandria, AR, and Ruby Fontaine of Prescott, AR; sixteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Missionary Grove Baptist Church in the Nubin Hill Community, with Neal Redlin officiating, burial will follow in Nubin Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
