Delton Martin

Delton E. Martin, 77, of Murfreesboro, AR. died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born December 11, 1933 in Newhope, AR the son of the late Robert and Dora Lee (Young) Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of the Mr. Moriah Baptist Church where he served as deacon, and as a Sunday school teacher. He was preceded in death by his wife Hopie Tallant Martin; two sisters, Peggy Harris and Patsy Triggs; and one brother, James Martin. Survivors include one son Terry and wife Kimberly Martin of Valparosa, IN; three daughters Bobbie and husband Robert Emrick of Chesterton, IN. Cathy and husband Jerry Cox of Murfreesboro, AR. and Pamela K. Morris of the home; one brother Jahue Martin of Fouke, AR; three sisters, Virginia Henson, Julia Mae Stumberg, and Dorothy ZaGarber all of Texas; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Troy Carroll officiating, with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
