David Lynn Turner, age 70, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025 in Murfreesboro.
He was born on October 9, 1954, in Huntington, Indiana, to the late Leonard Doyce and Donna Mae Turner. He was a member of the Murfreesboro First Baptist Church and had a love for fishing, camping, horseback riding, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda (Nicky) Ballard of Murfreesboro, and Tina (Stoy) Holland of O’Fallon, Missouri; four nieces Kelly (Jerry) Hile, Lori Ross, Sara (Justin) Mitchell, and Caley Holland; three nephews, Mark (Hailey) Holland, Cody (Nikki) Holland, and Luke Holland; and six great nephews, Brennan (fiancé Sarah) and Hampton Hile, Turner and Garrett Ross, Maddox and Nicholas Mitchell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Mark Alan Turner, paternal grandparents Preston and Minnie Turner, and maternal grandparents Ralph and Lesta Kelly.
Visitation will be Monday, February 17, from 1:00 p.m., to 2:00 p.m., preceding the 2:00 p.m. funeral services at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Brian Doyle officiating. Interment will be in the Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
