David Stewart Durand

David Stewart Durand, age 69, of Nashville, Arkansas, died on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Houston, Texas.  He was born July 7, 1953 in East St. Louis, Illinois the son of the late John Alphonse Durand and Marilyn Jane Stewart.

Dave was of the Catholic faith.  He was a retired electrical engineer and realtor.  He had many hobbies that included golf, woodworking, computers, and craft beer making.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Leslie Jane Durand.

Survivors include his life partner and best friend Sandy Ray; three children Adam Durand (Alana), Will Durand (Lauren), and Laura Durand; one sister Anette Freres, nephew Michael Freres, one niece Michelle Freres; as well as a number of friends.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 17, at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Father William Burmester officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
