Darrel Mitchell

Darrel Mitchell, 73, of DeQueen, AR, died Tuesday September 22, 2009, at a DeQueen hospital. He was born October 31, 1935, at Murfreesboro, AR, the son of the late Albert and Maudie Mae Sparks Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was an Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Geneva Missionary Baptist Church, DeQueen; former Superintendent of Nashville Rural Water for about 6 years. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Missman and Beryl Kyndig Johnson. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Martha Mitchell of DeQueen, AR; one son, Steven Mitchell of Texarkana, TX; one brother, Harold Mitchell of California; and a host of friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 25, at Murfreesboro Cemetery, with Bro. Bobby Neal officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
