D. Brant Beane

D. Brant Beane went to be with Our Lord Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Hot Springs, AR. He was a resident of Glenwood Health and Rehab in Glenwood, AR. He was born October 12, 1954 in Nashville, AR to Elmer and Virginia Kitchens Beane. He was a 1972 graduate of Dierks High School and was married to Bonnie Hawthorne in 1979, having a child that same year. He worked for Weyerhaeuser for twenty-six years before retiring. He was a Master-at-Arms for his local International Woodworkers of America. He was a volunteer umpire and an avid supporter of preserving Native American history and culture. He is preceded in death by his father Elmer and mother Virginia, maternal grandparents Kermit and Ethel Kitchens, and paternal grandparents Patrick and Lily Beane. He is survived by his daughter Brandy Beane of Poteau, OK; his son, Jeremy Spencer of Broken Bow, OK; his sister, Nancy McClellan of Little Rock, AR; and a host of family and friends. A celebration of his life is planned for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 25th at the Dierks Community Building in Dierks, AR.
