Correna M Tollett

Correna M. Tollett, 84, of Nashville, Arkansas, died on December 11, 2011. She was born on February 4, 1927 in Nashville, Arkansas, to the late J.B. Murray and Edith Yates Murray. She married Glen D. Tollett on February 4, 1947 , and they lived together in Nashville, AR, before relocating to Arkadelphia in 1955, then back to Nashville in 1991, to care for her mother, mother-in-law, and her dearly loved Aunt Nona Shofner. Correna helped found the Robert P. Patterson Federal Credit Union, serving as manager for thirty three years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a bible school teacher for over twenty five years. She enjoyed traveling, and had many plans for many trips she didn�t get to make. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Thomas Wayne Murray. Correna is survived by her husband of sixty four years and ten months; one brother, Joseph (Pat) Murray of Hudson, FL; one sister, Melba Kay Watson of Austin, TX; four nephews; three nieces, and many friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville, AR with David Williams and Rick Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville, AR. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, December 15, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
