Cleon Denton

Cleon Denton, 95 of Delight, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Delight. She was born on December 3, 1919 in Delight, the daughter of the late Walter Gray Copeland and Pearl (Barnes) Copeland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Denton; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers. Mrs. Denton was a member of the Delight Church of Christ. She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Denton and wife, Sidona of Delight, and Chris Denton and wife, Beleta of Camden, AR; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild with one on the way. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Delight Church of Christ with Brother Wallace Alexander and Brother Roger Genung officiating. Burial to follow in Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the chapel, Murfreesboro.
