Clarence Calvin Couch

Clarence Calvin Couch, 88 of Nathan, AR., died Friday, July 20, 2012 in Nashville, AR; Mr. Couch was born February 24, 1924 in Nathan, Arkansas the son of the late Clarence D. and Delphia Francis McDowell Couch. Mr. Couch started driving a truck at the age of seventeen for East Texas Motor Freight, In 1943 CC Couch trucking was born when Mr. Couch bought his first truck. In the late 60�s it became Nashville Trucking. Mr. Couch was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Sanders Couch; a son Larry Couch, a daughter Gaylon Couch Meadows Dudley, and one grandson Gary Couch; one brother John Raymond Couch; and one sister Lucille Jones. Survivors include two sons Jerry and wife Johnnie Couch of Nathan, AR; Robin and wife Judy Couch of Ashdown, AR; two daughters Kay Culp of Nashville, AR; and Carolyn and husband Pedro Saldivar of De Queen, AR; two step children Mignon Fatherree and Randy and Donna Fatherree. One step grandson Chad Roberts; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00A.M., Monday, July 23, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with Bro. Al Terrell officiating, with burial to follow in Biggs Chapel Cemetery in Nathan, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, July 22, at Latimer Funeral Home.
