Christie Staten

Christie Staten 46, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2012. She was born September 6, 1965 the daughter of Larry Nuttle and Donna Epperson Nuttle. Mrs. Staten was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, where she was a nursery worker and a custodian for the church. Mike and Christie were married on July 21, 1984 and had been married for twenty-seven great years. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Oscar and Willie Nuttle, maternal grandparents Bob and Alma Epperson, a father in law Donald Staten, as well as several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Survivors include her husband , Mike Staten of Murfreesboro, AR; two sons, Dustin Staten of Pisgah, AR; and Taylor Staten of Murfreesboro, AR; three grandsons Tyler Staten of Pisgah, AR, Robbye Goodwin and Aiden Goodwin both of Murfreesboro, AR; father Larry and wife Debbie Nuttle of Murfreesboro, AR; her mother Donna Nuttle of Murfreesboro, AR; one brother Frank and wife Milly Nuttle of Nashville, AR; one sister; Angie and husband Junior Lingo of Delight, AR; two sister in laws Dianna and husband Donny Staten of Murfreesboro, AR; and Sandy and husband Wayne Fallin of Arkadelphia, AR; An aunt that she considered as a second mother Reta (Aunt We We) McDonald of Ponca City, OK; her mother in law Sue Staten of Murfreesboro, AR; nieces and nephews Brittaney and Daniel Nuttle, Jerimiah and Joshua Lingo, Robert Johnson, Nicole Fallen, Stefanie Johnston, Kristy Price and Michael Staten several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 18, at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Lee Walker officiating, with burial to follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be 7:00 to 9:00 P.M, Sunday, June 17 at the funeral home.
