Charles "Buddy" Edwin Young

Charles Edwin “Buddy” Young, age 78 of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Ashdown. He was born on March 31, 1945 in Nashville to the late Joseph Young and Marjorie Johnson Young.

Buddy was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Ashdown. He enjoyed riding and showing his horses, riding motorcycles, camping and traveling. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, his friends and many animals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Gleoria Wilson.

Survivors include his two sons, Danny Young and wife Misty and Dale Young and wife Hillary; one sister Terry Young; five grandchildren Chloe, Gracie, Dani Jo, Harrison and Cullen Young; a niece Dana Brooks; a great-nephew Connor Brooks and wife Addison; special friend and love Sandy Talent, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Ashdown.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Ashdown. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery near Nashville, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
