Charles Philip Rea

Charles Philip Rea, age 72, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, died Wednesday October 21, 2009. He was born April 1, 1937 in Danville, Illinois, the son of the late Hugh Edwin Mary Graham Rea. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a Gideon and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mickie Douglas Rea; two sisters. Survivors include his wife Joan Rea of Murfreesboro; two daughters Christie Lynn Morgans of North Carolina, Susan Emily Williams of Newport; two step-sons Monte Sharp of Munford, TN, Chris Sharp of Murfreesboro; one step-daughter Missy Akers of Idabel, OK; three brothers Bob Rea of Columbus, OH, Jim Rea of Eades, TN, Tom Rea of Victoriaville, CA; one sister Mary Ann Perkins of Stockton, CA; one grandson Matthew Morgans and six step-grandchildren. Services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with burial to follow at 1:30 PM at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends at the home in Murfreesboro. Memorials may be made to the Gideons.
