Carl Edward Skinner, age79, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, went to walk with our Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Murfreesboro. He was born November 7, 1931, the son of the late George and Jessie Price Skinner. He served his country as a proud member of the Big Red One Infantry during the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Skinner was preceded in death by one sister Ruth Skinner. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Rose Lee (Hinds) Skinner of Murfreesboro, AR; three sons and their wives Eugene and Alice Skinner and Allen and Kristie Skinner both of Murfreesboro, AR; , and Edward and Violet Skinner of Amity, AR; one daughter and her husband Diane and Don Thompson of Nashville, AR; one sister Georgia Ballard of Murfreesboro, AR; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, burial will follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery.
