Brenda Kathleen Linzy

Brenda Kathleen Linzy, age 61, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in Murfreesboro. She was born on November 19, 1952 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of the late Thomas Ray Franklin and Ida Mae (Knighten) Franklin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Franklin. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Linzy of Murfreesboro; 4 daughters, Whitney Kathleen Linzy of Murfreesboro, Tracy Suzanne Cortez and husband, Ernie of Houston, Sherri Mae Wilkerson and husband, Heath of Murfreesboro, and Christy Ann Peek of Murfreesboro; one brother, Billy Franklin and wife, Diane of Pocola, OK; one sister, Patricia Ann Tolbert of Ft. Smith; and 7 grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, Murfreesboro with Brother Al Terrell officiating. Burial to follow in Roy Cemetery in Murfreesboro, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 28, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Murfreesboro.
