Bobby L. Stevens

Bobby L. Stevens, 69, of Murfreesboro, died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at his home in Murfreesboro. He was born on October 25, 1943 in Murfreesboro, the son of the late Bob Lake Stevens and Mae Harris Stevens. He was a USDA Inspector for Tyson Foods for 37 years, a U.S. Air Force veteran; and member of the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro. He was also an avid razorback and rattler fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Elliott, Ann Fletcher, and Pat Davidson. Survivors include: his wife, Janet of Murfreesboro; two sons, Rob Stevens and Will Stevens both of Murfreesboro; and two sisters, Faye Hilt of Blanchard, LA and Kay Michael and husband, Robert of Hot Springs, AR. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends mourn his passing. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 22, 2013 in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Wainscott officiating. Burial to follow in Ozan Cemetery in Bingen, AR, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
