Billy Earl Ludlam, 78 of Delight, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 26, 2020. He was born on February 14, 1942 in Star City, Arkansas the son of Elmer Ludlam, Sr. and Jewel Dean (Johnson) Ludlam. Mr. Ludlam was a member of the Methodist Church of Delight. He worked in the log woods with his Dad and Brothers, and later on a Foreman in the construction field until retired. Mr. Ludlam is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Tommy Ludlam and Frankie Ludlam, daughter Marilynn Spann and son Jimmy Goss, and one grandson Carl Jones. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Ruby Williamson Ludlam, daughters Misty (Bobby) Pruett of Delight, Arlene Spriggs of Delight, Kimberly (Robert) Hennig of Atascocita, Texas and Sherry Lynn of Genoa, Arkansas, a son Patrick (Jessica) Fenton of Delight, and one stepson Jerry (Carol) Allen of Conway. Grandchildren, Monica Pruett, Coty Rector of Delight, Dakota Rector of Delight, Ty Sherrod of Delight, David Fenton. Sr of Delight, Mary Jones of Liberty, Texas, Billy (Christy) Spann of East End, Arkansas, Kevin Spann of Little Rock, Timmy Spann of Little Rock, Dakota Goodwin, Savannah Cross of Genoa, Joseph Hennig of Atascocita, Texas, Jerry Johnson, Abbygil and Alexis Fenton of Delight, Mary Lewis of Murfreesboro, Great Grandchildren David Fenton, Jr. of Little Rock, Katelyn Jones and Brandon Bufford of Vidor, Texas, Brandon (Tiffanie) Fenton of Dayton, Texas, Justin Johnson and wife Debra of California. Alexzander and Robert Rector, Glendon Rector, Josh, Samuel, and John Spann, Dylan and Savannah Spann; Great grandchildren Zachary Fenton; brothers Elmer (Toe-head) Ludlam Jr.; Larry (Pee-Wee) Ludlam; Sisters Clara Sparkman, Dorothy Faye Ludlam, and Dorothy Jean Ludlam and a host of nieces and nephews. Public viewing will be 6:00 P.M., Thursday, May 28, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 29, at Delight Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Henderson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
