Billy Wayne Harris

Billy Wayne Harris, age 81, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas died on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at his home.  He was born August 1, 1940 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas the son of the late Watson Clifton Harris and Dora Maire Ponder Harris.

Mr. Harris was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy.  He enjoyed pestering his wife, kids, and grandkids.  Billy’s hobbies were watching the Razorbacks, fishing, and hunting, especially going coon hunting.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Fred Harris, one sister Eva Jane Vaught, and his granddaughter Heaven Lee Harris.

Survivors include his wife Charloette Harris of Murfreesboro, AR; two sons Curtis Wayne Harris of Murfreesboro, AR, Clifton Wayne Harris of Hot Springs Village AR; two daughters Cindy Ann Spradling and husband Allen of Grubbs, AR, Debbie Libranda and husband Jason of Murfreesboro, AR; one brother Clifton Thomas “Nim” Harris of Murfreesboro, AR; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as a number of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 until service time Sunday, February 27, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 27, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Bro. Rob Miller officiating, burial to follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
