Barbara Karst, 77, of Nashville, died on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Nashville. She was born on October 29, 1935 in Nashville, the daughter of the late Albert Dunson and Verice Laverne Fatherree Dunson. Survivors include: five sons, Randy Cumbie of North Carolina, Toby Cumbie of Indiana, Steve McDaniel of Nashville, David McDaniel and William R. (Billy) McDaniel of Indiana; four adopted children, Steven (Allen) Karst, Jackie Karst, Linda Karst, and Jane Karst all of Indiana; one brother, Dannie Dunson; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her last husband, Ralph Karst; one son, Donnie Dunson; and one brother, Charles Dunson.
