Ava Lynn Rogers was born on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 3:19 p.m. at Willis-Knighton South in Shreveport, Louisiana. She weighed 4 pounds and 10 ounces and was 18 inches long. She passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 4:28 a.m.
She is the daughter of Jarrett and Anna Rogers and sister to Cohen and Corbyn Jordan, all of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Carl Rogers; her paternal great-grandparents Clifton Carnell and Betty Rogers and J.D. “Duke” Tomerlin; and her maternal great-grandparents F.H. and Ruth Howard.
In addition to her parents and brothers, she is survived by her paternal grandmother D’Ann Rogers, maternal grandparents Richard and Jeanna Howard; paternal great-grandmother Liz Tomerlin; maternal great-grandparents Don and Wanda Pounds; her Uncle Justin and Aunt Lindsey White; her Aunt Alicia and Uncle Cody Lockeby; cousins Brookelyn, Ayden, Collins and Halle; as well as a host of other loving family and friends.
Viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville for everyone to see how beautiful she is. The family will not be present for the viewing.
A private graveside service will be held at County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
