Arvon Draper

Arvon Draper, 87, resident of Garland, Texas, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Hot Springs, AR. He was born December 9, 1923, in Athens, Alabama, the son of the late Sam and Nellie McLemore Draper. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. Mr. Draper was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Faye Draper, two sons, Barry Draper and Eldon Draper, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by one son, Dennis Draper and wife, Kim, of Corsicana, TX; two daughters, Barbara Blakely and husband, Jim, of DeQueen, AR and Janice Boeye of Garland, TX; one sister, Edna Berzett of Alabama; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 11, at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
