Arthur G. Carlton

Arthur G. Carlton 87 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away on Friday February 24, 2017 in Nashville. He was born April 9, 1929 in Vienna, Illinois the son of the late Everett Lawrence Carlton and Della Mae Green. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mineral Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Lucille Carpenter, Geraldine Doyle, Mary Lillian Carlton, Mildred Lois Gurley, a brother, Edgar Wayne Carlton, and a granddaughter Lauren. Survivors include his sister Velma May Newton, his son, Gary Carlton, two daughters, Sherry Ebarb and Brenda Skakel, his step-son Reggie Hughes, a step-daughter Loretta Trussell, six grandchildren: William, Zane, Amanda, Heather, Grant, and Steven, as well as a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 26, 2017 at Wright's Chapel Cemetery. Under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
