Anita Joyce (Flaherty) Rogers

Anita Joyce Flaherty Rogers, 66, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was born January 21, 1957 in Bluffton, Indiana the daughter of Bruenel Simmons Flaherty and the late Jimmy Dale Flaherty.

Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Pleasant Home Church of Christ.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She had many hobbies which included crocheting, antiquing, reading, music, and traveling.  She truly loved going to and walking on the beach.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one brother Dwayne Flaherty and a sister in law Marie Cogburn.

Survivors include her husband Roy Rogers of Murfreesboro, AR; one son Daron Rogers and wife Brittany of Delight, AR; one brother Bill Flaherty and wife Wilma of Murfreesboro, AR; sisters Betty Cawthon of Texarkana, AR, Alecia Flaherty and Penny of Haskell, AR, Dottie Smith of Nashville, AR; her two grandchildren Kristen Rogers, and Nathan Rogers both of Delight, AR; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, at College Hill Cemetery, with Bro. John David Watson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
