Alma L. Ashbrooks

Alma L. Ashbrooks, 88 of Dierks, Arkansas passed away on September 12, 2013 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born on March 13, 1925 in Burg, Arkansas the daughter of the late Grover C. â�œBudâ₝ and Ellie (Greene) Price. Mrs. Ashbrooks was a longtime member of the Athens Church of Christ, but was also a member of the Dierks Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer L. Ashbrooks who died in 1996, one brother Preston Price, and two sisters Vernice Price Norris and Ruby Tinker. Survivors include three sons: Ron Ashbrooks (Evelyn) of Memphis, TN; Roger Ashbrooks (Becky) of DeQueen, AR; and Anthony Ashbrooks (LaDonna) of Murfreesboro, AR; three step children; Alvis Ashbrooks (Jan) of Yakima, WA; Louise Biggers of Walla Walla, WA: and Dewane Ashbrooks (Jean) of Tieton, WA; one sister Jean Price Wilcher (Robert Lee) of DeQueen, AR; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Athens Cemetery with Tom Williams officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
