Linda Kay (Marion) Downs

Linda Kay Downs, age 72, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas died on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Nashville, Arkansas.  She was born September 16, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Elings Marion.

During her career she served as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She had been attending First Christian Church in Murfreesboro.  Her hobbies included crocheting, reading, and loving on her dog Little Bear.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Downs; one son  Mark Gentry and one sister Sue Suter.

Survivors include one son Donald Gentry of Ft. Smith, AR; one daughter Judy McKinnon of Murfreesboro, AR; one brother Dean Marion of Van Buren, AR; one sister Ann Wise of Van Buren, AR; six grandchildren Michael Gentry, Leah Jones, Billy Ash, Savanna McKinnon, Deanna Gentry, and Sierra Gentry; three great grandchildren Isaac Ash, Macon Gentry, and Rylan Zelonis; and a dear friend Becky Batson; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
