Judy Underwood Funderburg

Judy Underwood Funderburg,86, of Mount Pleasant, TX, formerly of Mineral Springs, AR, died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at a Texarkana hospital. She was born May 7, 1925, at Nashville, AR, the daughter of the late Gordon and Cora Tedford Underwood. She was a member of the New Beginning Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, TX. She was president of the Sunshine Club at Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs for 10 years. She was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell and Sears. Mrs. Funderburg is survived by her husband of 66 years, Louis Funderburg of Mt. Pleasant, TX; two sons, Gene Funderburg and wife, Jackie of Roanoke, TX and Ken Funderburg and wife, Luella of Carrollton, TX; one daughter, Becky Hunnicutt and Husband, Bruce of Mount Vernon, TX; one sister, Lena Harris of Nashville, AR; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 22, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bros. David Blase and Don Jones officiating, burial in Liberty Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
