Dovie Ethel Roberts

Dovie Ethel Roberts, 94, of Nashville, died Monday, June 6, 2011, at a Nashville nursing home. She was born October 10, 1916, at Athens, AR, the daughter of the late A.A. and Louie E. Rickett Johnson. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, William Coy Roberts, one son, William A. Roberts, and one step-daughter, Mary Dell Young. She is survived by one daughter, Linda McGowan of Arlington, TX; one step-daughter, Sharon Bevill of Nashville, AR; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren and a host of friends. Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 9, at Unity Cemetery, with Bro. David Cassady officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
